FEEDING EAST AFRICA
Welcome to Nayuku Cage Fishing Ltd. The fresh new driving force behind sustainable Fish Protein in Uganda!
NCF was founded in 2020 by a group of dedicated entrepreneurs from Uganda and the Netherlands. With the help of the Rabobank Foundation we are working hard to fight undernourishment in Uganda.
By setting up Tilapia Cage Fishing operations in the East Ugandan districts of Namayingo we give a vital boast to these vulnerable rural areas. NCF provides much needed nutricious fish and local employment to the wider area.
In a country with abundant natural resources, having systemic under-nourishment is simply unacceptable. We aim to take this challenge head-on and aim to make fish available to every household in Uganda.

At Nayuku Cage Fishing, we don't just grow Tilapia; we are following our dream: Feeding East Africa.
With each milestone reached, the exitement only grows. In just a few years we've set up the company, carefully selected our team, constructed our headquarters and storage building, struck strategic partnerships, built our first cages and much more...
Every day we feed our fish multiple times, carefully measuring vital water indicators such as temperature, Oxygen levels, Ph and more. Growing top quality Tilapia is an Art as much as it is a Science, and we at NCF are proud of our work.
We are pasionate about what we do and confident that we will make a positive impact on people, climate and economy. We are Open and Inclusive and have a strong focus on diversity and equal opportunity in our growing team.
Uganda is a country exploding with potential. We believe in the combination of Fair Trade Profitability, Sustainability, Education and Nutricion. Most believe each of these factors has to go at the expense of the others, we prove the opposite every day. We stimulate innovation across all aspects of our business, always finding better and smarter ways to Feed East Africa.
